Inspired by the tradition of weaving—a sustainable, community-focused practice that transcends cultures and has empowered women for generations—The Weavers Studio was founded to curate unique experiences that build brands and foster relationships while contributing to meaningful environmental and social progress.
About Rebecca
Rebecca is known for her work as an event planning entrepreneur and as an operation and brand executive in venture capital and impact investing. Through weaving together diligent organizational skills, project management experience, and design-forward talent, Rebecca has strengthened operational systems, crafted and refined brand presence, and activated communities to advance initiatives at scale.
Most recently, as the VP of Operations at Lowercase Capital, Rebecca focused on operations, brand management, community engagement, program operations, and traditional venture and portfolio work as well as pressing societal issues like climate change and criminal justice reform. Prior to joining Lowercase, Rebecca served as the VP of Brand and Community at Slow Ventures.
Rebecca also founded MartiniBird, an event strategy and production firm that serviced clients like Uber, Lightspeed Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Slow, The Information, Maison de Mode, PIA, FWD.us and more. She has also worked at The Commonwealth Club of California, Samasource, and Trinity Ventures, and served on advisory boards for institutions like the Hearst Castle Preservation Foundation, SFMoMA’s SECA Committee, the San Francisco Symphony’s Symphonix, and the Bothin Foundation.
